Nina Simone
Nina Simone was/is one of my favorite vocalists of all time. Her lyrical beauty and honest lyrics has been an incredible musical discovery for me. I can’t think of jazz or soul without thinking of Mrs. Simone. Her voice and her words are important and that’s a gem that’s quickly becoming a stone of the rarest sort.
