Delicious Morels
I was treated to a tasty lunch today by my step-father and master morel hunter. The morel season has been kind, probably due to the noah’s ark rains we’ve been experiencing here. On the lunch menu today was the classic morels over toast seasoned with butter, sour cream, garlic and lemon. Yum. The Mushroom in general is a bit of a contentious culinary sore point for the misses and me. I love ’em and she hates them. Makes ordering pizzas very tricky. Step-father, under the nefarious publishing pseudonym of ‘Malfred Ferndock’, penned the definitive morel cookbook which if you’re interested can still be purchased at amazon.
